Hajiya Naja’atu Mohammed, once a Director of Civil Society Organisations in the Asiwaju/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council, was yesterday relieved of duty and accused of incompetence and quarrelsomeness.
She had earlier on resigned from her position before her sack letter arrived.
The former APC member expressed surprise that Tinubu had no blueprint for the North when asked by her, but instead expected her to list out its needs.
According to her, the party’s primary election was a “cash and carry” exercise where ballot papers already had Tinubu written on them.
Revealing that supporters of the presidential hopeful were only after his war chest, she called them greedy and further alleged they had control over the strongest propaganda machine in the country -The Lagos-Ibadan press.
Mohammed posited that Vice President Yemi Osinbajo would have been a better choice given Tinubu’s poor health but added that those following the latter seemed to be thinking of their own personal interest as opposed to what could benefit the nation.
In reaction to this, Tinubu Media Office said Mohammed deceived people by claiming she resigned but was sacked instead due to being an “unsatisfactory mole” planted to leak information to their opponents.
