With the USSD code, all that’s required of you is to dial *121# and then follow the prompts to show your data balance. Alternatively, you can key in the shortcode *12151# to directly show your data balance.
Other USSD codes include *140#, *1417120#, 12310# or 141110#. If these aren’t convenient for you, you could also use the Airtel mobile app which I will be talking about below.

Have you heard of checking your Airtel data balance via mobile app? It’s easy! Download the My Airtel app from either the Google Play Store (for Android devices) or the App Store (for iPhones).
After installation, open up the app, log in using your phone number and password. Once you’re logged in, you’ll be able to see your data balance right on your dashboard. That’s it. If you prefer SMS instead, don’t worry – we’ll go over that too shortly.

To check your data balance via SMS: open the Messages app on your phone, compose a new message and type “Status” in the body. Then send the message to 141 and wait for your reply – in it, you’ll find all the details about your current data balance.

To check your Airtel data balance online, open your web browser and navigate to http://www.airtel.in/.
Log in using your mobile number and OTP. Once logged in, if you have multiple data plans associated with your Airtel account, simply choose the one you wish to view under the “Account Overview” box of the left sidebar.
Your remaining data amount will be listed in MB alongside how many days are left before expiration.
