Erik ten Hag has confirmed that both Jadon Sancho and Anthony Martial are fit to make their returns for Wednesday night’s game against Nottingham Forest.
The Manchester United manager told club media ahead of the press conference that, apart from Scott McTominay who is still out with an injury, all players are available for selection.
Sancho hasn’t played since October 22nd when he was substituted after 52 minutes into a 1-1 draw with Chelsea, due to illness and then having not being passed fit enough while training before the World Cup break in Spain.
Martial too has been absent since injury problems limited him to only 13 appearances in all competitions with his last big game coming in the victorious Manchester derby two and a half weeks ago.
Since Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure, United have signed Dutch international Wout Weghorst as extra cover up front who has been impressing in his few games so far.
Ten Hag praised his compatriot’s integration into the team at Tuesday’s press conference, but now he has more competition as Sancho and Martial prepare to feature once again.
