The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the official result of Mmesoma Ejikeme, the candidate involved in the controversy surrounding the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) in Anambra State.
According to the authentic result released by JAMB, Mmesoma scored 249, contradicting her claim of scoring 362.
The result slip also includes Mmesoma’s portrait, which differs from the result sheet she had been parading.
JAMB spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, stated that Mmesoma had been using an outdated notification slip.
As a consequence of the controversy, JAMB has banned Mmesoma from taking the exam for the next three years.
