Joseph Akinwale (Joeboy), an Afro-pop singer and signed artist of Banku Music and emPawa Africa, has celebrated a groundbreaking milestone in his musical career.
He has racked up 2 billion streams across 5 digital platforms with just 1 album and an extended play. This was all thanks to his large fanbase throughout the world.
Joeboy announced the success via a poster on social media, adding that a new album will come soon.
In 2018, the artist released “Fààjí” featuring Mr Eazi, which began his professional career in music.
This was followed by the single “Baby” in 2019, which gained 20 million plays as well as 23 million views for its accompanying music video on YouTube.
