The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) is set to extend the contract of Super Eagles head coach, Jose Peseiro, until the end of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Cote d’Ivoire.
The Portuguese coach’s current contract is set to expire at the end of this month, but the NFF is keen to keep him on board.
Peseiro’s continued tenure will be dependent on the team’s performance in the upcoming tournament.
The former coach of Saudi Arabia and Venezuela was appointed by the NFF in May 2020 to lead the Nigerian national soccer team.
