Liverpool’s recent elimination from the Europa League after a 3-1 aggregate loss to Atalanta has raised questions about the form of star forward Mohamed Salah. However, manager Jurgen Klopp has expressed that he is not concerned about Salah’s current performance.

In the first leg at Anfield, Liverpool suffered a 3-0 defeat, putting them in a difficult position for the return match in Italy. Nevertheless, Trent Alexander-Arnold won a penalty in the fifth minute of the second leg, allowing Salah to score his 23rd goal of the season and give the team a glimmer of hope.

Despite this early success, Salah struggled throughout the match, missing a crucial opportunity just before halftime and eventually being substituted in the 66th minute. Since returning from a hamstring injury last month, Salah has not been at his best.

However, Klopp remains unfazed by the situation. Speaking at the post-match press conference, Klopp stated, “I’m not particularly concerned. Strikers go through these phases, and Salah is one of the most experienced players in the squad. It’s part of the game, and he will overcome it.”

Liverpool’s exit from the Europa League means that their only remaining chance for silverware this season is the Premier League. Despite their recent setbacks in the FA Cup and the league, Klopp and his team will now focus their efforts on securing a strong finish in the domestic competition.

As Liverpool prepares for their upcoming Premier League match against Fulham, they understand the importance of getting their season back on track.

With no room for error at this stage, the Reds will be determined to bounce back and make a strong push for success in Klopp’s farewell season at the club.
