Aston Villa legend Gabby Agbonlahor has harshly criticised Chelsea boss Graham Potter and believes he should be dismissed.
This comes after Potter spoke following the Blues’ disappointing loss to bottom-of-the-table Southampton in the Premier League on Saturday and complained about having to switch up his tactics – including bringing on a £88m January signing, Mykhaylo Mudryk.
Agbonlahor stated that Potter should have known better considering the Saints had no manager, and also complained that he had to start Joao Felix and bring on Mudryk off the bench.
Despite Chelsea making six substitutions during the second half, they failed to score as Southampton went away with all three points.
For Potter to turn his side’s fortunes around quickly before the second leg of their Champions League tie with Borussia Dortmund, he will need some luck – or else Agbonlahor could soon get his wish.
