The Kano Emirate Crisis has been a topic of discussion since the creation of four new emirates by Governor Abdullahi Ganduje.

However, in response to comments made by Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, who suggested that the incoming government may revisit the issue surrounding the dethronement of Malam Lamido Sanusi, Ganduje stated that the four new emirates are here to stay.

Speaking at the Workers’ Day celebrations in Kano, Ganduje assured the crowd that the emirates were created for the progress and well-being of the people, and that God will not bring anyone who seeks to destroy them.

He emphasized that the emirates are a symbol of unity and development, and that they will remain permanent fixtures in Kano state.

Despite the controversy surrounding their creation, Ganduje believes that the emirates have brought development and honor to their respective regions.
