Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp will encounter selection dilemmas as he looks to put together his strongest team in recent memory for the Champions League last-16 tie against Real Madrid on Tuesday.
Virgil van Dijk, Roberto Firmino and Diogo Jota have recently returned from injury and are all pushing to start, while Joe Gomez, Cody Gakpo, Jordan Henderson and Darwin Nunez could all potentially drop out despite performing well in two back-to-back victories over Everton and Newcastle respectively.
Van Dijk made his return for the win at Newcastle and Firmino and Jota have both been used off the bench in both fixtures.
Henderson has not been an automatic starter for Liverpool this season but could be favoured for his experience if Klopp decides to go with a different midfield set up of Fabinho and Stefan Bajcetic alongside him instead of Harvey Elliott or James Milner.
Ultimately though, it will be down to whether Nunez recovers from a shoulder injury as Firmino or Jota could make their first starts since returning from their respective injuries.
