Arsenal’s hopes of winning the Premier League were dashed after a 1-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest, leaving manager Mikel Arteta feeling “extremely sad” and “angry”.

Despite dominating possession, an experimental Arsenal team struggled to break down Forest’s defense and conceded a goal in the 19th minute.

Arteta took responsibility for the loss and acknowledged that his team had fallen short in recent weeks.

However, he also highlighted the progress that Arsenal had made and the lessons they had learned.

While they may have missed out on the title, Arsenal will still finish in second place and secure Champions League football for the first time in seven years.

They will play their final game of the season against Wolverhampton Wanderers at home next Sunday.
