Frank Lampard, former manager of Premier League side Everton and Chelsea legend, has been spotted out in public for the first time since he was released from his managerial position at Goodison Park.
The 44-year-old Englishman had been appointed to lead Everton after replacing Rafa Benitez at the start of 2022, but a run of 10 games without a win left the Toffees perilously close to relegation and resulted in Lampard’s sacking.
On Thursday, Lampard was seen heading to The Ivy in Chelsea Garden with his wife Christine, where he wore a black gilet jacket and beanie hat while she sported a long camel-colored coat complemented with black trousers and pumps.
Lampard issued a heartfelt message to supporters on social media shortly after his dismissal, admitting disappointment at not having achieved what he set out to do.
Despite being relieved from his duties by Everton, reports suggest that Lampard is resolute about making a successful comeback.
