Actor, Sunday Akanbi “Baba Feyikogbon” Akinola has passed away at the age of 80 after suffering from kidney failure.
He rose to fame in the 1980s and 1990s with his popular weekly sitcom, the Feyikogbon series which aired on NTA Channel 7 Lagos for over 13 years.
In 2019, he sought help from the public for his medical condition, requesting 30 million Naira to travel abroad for treatment.
Before this unfortunate turn of events, Baba Feyikogbon mentioned in a 2014 interview that although his plays gave him fame, they did not grant him fortune.
Following this bad news many Yoruba movie actors have taken to Instagram to mourn him.
