Liverpool have been warned by former Reds midfielder Don Hutchinson not to make a “panic” transfer for Atletico Madrid-linked midfielder Sofyan Amrabat.
Reports of Liverpool’s interest in the Fiorentina player emerged last year after he impressed with the Moroccan national team at the World Cup in Qatar.
Both Tottenham Hotspur and Atletico Madrid were linked with Amrabat, but Hutchinson has urged Liverpool not to be swayed by his World Cup performance – cautioning that Amrabat hasn’t done too well for Fiorentina over the past 18 months.
The ex-midfielder emphasized that it is important for Liverpool not to “panic” and “get the right one” when looking to make an acquisitions this month.
