Liverpool has received suggestions to make unconventional offers in order to persuade Jurgen Klopp to stay on as manager beyond this season.

Klopp recently announced that he would be leaving Liverpool at the end of the season, citing exhaustion and the need for a break.

Despite his contract with Liverpool not expiring until 2026, he has decided to depart early.

Liverpool is currently at the top of the Premier League and will be competing against Chelsea in the Carabao Cup final this weekend.

They are also still in contention for the Europa League and FA Cup. Potential destinations for Klopp after leaving Liverpool include Bayern Munich and Barcelona, although retirement is also an option he has mentioned.

Richard Keys, a pundit on BeIN Sports, believes that Liverpool should do everything possible to keep Klopp.

He suggests offering him a part-time role and allowing him to live in Mallorca, Spain, where he is building a new house.

Keys emphasizes that Klopp is a significant figure at the club and should not be allowed to leave.

Speculation about Klopp’s replacement has already begun, with Bayer Leverkusen boss Xabi Alonso being the frontrunner.

Leverkusen currently has an eight-point lead over Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga, which could potentially be won before Alonso’s departure.

Klopp has praised Alonso as an exceptional coach and a standout among the next generation of elite-level coaches.

Liverpool has the opportunity to make Klopp’s farewell season a memorable one.
