According to ESPN, Luis Castro is set to become the new manager of Al Nassr, where he will have the opportunity to work alongside his fellow countryman, Cristiano Ronaldo.
Castro, who is currently with Brazilian club Botafogo, will be taking over the managerial position at Al Nassr after the departure of Rudi García in April.
It is reported that Ronaldo personally spoke with Castro to persuade him to take on the role at the Saudi Arabian side.
Castro is expected to sign a two-year contract with Al Nassr, with the option to extend for an additional season.
As Castro’s contract with Botafogo expires at the end of the year, Al Nassr will pay €2.3 million to the Rio de Janeiro based club as part of his release clause.
