Manchester City dropped points for the fifth time in six Premier League matches, settling for a 2-2 draw at Crystal Palace on Saturday.

City twice came from behind, but their struggles continued as they failed to secure a win, leaving Selhurst Park with just a point.

The match started poorly for City as Daniel Muñoz put Palace ahead in the fourth minute, converting a pass from Will Hughes.

Man City responded with an equalizer in the 30th minute when Erling Haaland ended his three-game goal drought, heading in a cross to make it 1-1.

However, Palace regained the lead early in the second half when Maxence Lacroix headed home from close range, assisted again by Hughes.

City fought back once more, with Rico Lewis scoring in the 68th minute to level the game at 2-2.

Despite Rico Lewis being sent off for a second yellow card, becoming the youngest City player to be dismissed under Pep Guardiola, City held on to earn a draw.

The result extends City’s poor run of form, with just one win in their last six league games, and only one win in nine across all competitions.

City now sit eight points behind Premier League leaders Liverpool, who had their match at Everton postponed due to bad weather.
