Reports in Spain indicate that Manchester United have recently joined the race to sign Barcelona’s No. 11, Raphinha.

Barcelona are reportedly actively seeking a buyer for the Brazilian international due to financial constraints at the Camp Nou.

This revelation comes as Barcelona face significant financial issues and look to offload the Brazilian international.

Additionally, Newcastle United have also expressed interest in acquiring the winger.

There are reports that Barcelona are willing to sell Raphinha if an offer of €60 million (£51 million) is made.

Despite his impressive performance in the 2023/24 season, where he netted ten goals and provided 13 assists in 37 appearances, Barcelona see selling Raphinha as a necessary step to alleviate their financial woes.

In addition to Manchester United, Newcastle United are also eyeing Raphinha.

Manager Eddie Howe is in the market for a new right-winger, and Mundo Deportivo has claimed that the Magpies are keen to sign the Barcelona forward.

Newcastle are also reportedly considering a move for Chelsea‘s number 11, Noni Madueke, following Chelsea’s acquisition of Pedro Neto.

Despite the rumors of a potential sale, Raphinha has expressed his desire to remain with the Catalan club.

He reportedly informed Barcelona that any departure would be highly unlikely if delayed until August, the final month of the transfer window.
