Napoli have reportedly submitted an improved bid for Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho.

The club is keen to sign the 20-year-old as a replacement for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who joined Paris Saint-Germain for £59 million.

They had previously seen a £40 million bid rejected by Manchester United but have now made a second, more substantial offer of €55 million (£46.5 million / $56.7 million).

According to reports, Garnacho has already agreed personal terms with Napoli for a five-year deal worth €3 million (£2.5 million / $3.1 million) annually.

However, Manchester United remains firm on their £60 million asking price and will not allow Garnacho to leave for less than that amount this month.

With Napoli able to finance this fee due to the Kvaratskhelia sale, whether they choose to meet United’s demand remains uncertain.

Furthermore, other clubs, including Chelsea, are reportedly monitoring Garnacho’s situation closely.
