Man Utd set to replace Aaron Wan-Bissaka with ex-Man City star

Manchester United are said to be tracking a former Manchester City player as a potential replacement for Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

Wan-Bissaka has been injured for more than six weeks but is considered a firm second choice at right-back behind Diogo Dalot, who has played every game this season.

And Ten Hag is now keeping an eye on Bayer Leverkusen right-back Jeremie Frimpong, according to Sky Sport Germany.

Jeremie Frimpong

The 21-year-old full-back was a member of Manchester City’s youth system before leaving for Celtic in 2019.

He played more than 50 games in Scotland before securing a move to Germany in January 2021.

The Netherlands Under-21 international has the ability to play at right wing, having done so eight times already this season.

He has recorded five goals and two assists so far this term having netted twice and provided nine assists during the 2021/22 campaign.
