A man in his thirties who was a passenger on an Asiana Airlines flight from Vietnam to South Korea opened a door on the plane minutes before landing in Daegu.
He told police that he was feeling uncomfortable and wanted to get off the plane quickly.
He also mentioned that he was stressed after losing his job recently.
The incident caused panic onboard and nine passengers were sent to the hospital with breathing issues.
