According to Relevo, Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino is reportedly interested in signing Franck Kessie from Barcelona.
Chelsea is in the market for a new midfielder and is specifically looking for a defensive-minded player to partner with Enzo Fernandez in the midfield.
While their priority is to sign Moises Caicedo from Brighton, negotiations have not been successful so far.
If a deal for Caicedo falls through, Chelsea may consider cheaper alternatives, and Kessie, who Pochettino previously tried to sign during his time at Tottenham, could be a suitable option.
Kessie is currently not in Barcelona’s plans, and the club is actively seeking a buyer.
Additionally, there is interest in Kessie from Saudi Arabia side Al-Ahli.
