With just 30 days left before the inauguration of the newly elected President of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the President-elect has chosen Lieutenant Colonel Nurudeen Alowonle Yusuf as his Aide-de-Camp (ADC) designate.

This information was revealed by Jamiu Julius Adebayo, a supporter of Tinubu, on his Twitter handle on Friday.

As per Adebayo’s tweet, Yusuf is scheduled to begin his duties as Tinubu’s ADC on May 1, unless there is a last-minute change.

Yusuf, a Prince from Kwara State, had previously served in Aso Rock during former President Goodluck Jonathan’s administration, and has extensive qualifications and experience.

As Tinubu’s ADC, Yusuf will play a crucial role in assisting the President-elect in his liaison with important guests.

His duties will include ensuring that essential guests are attended to and liaising with them on behalf of the President.

The role of ADC is a significant one, as the individual appointed to this position is responsible for the safety and welfare of the President.

They also serve as a link between the President and the outside world, providing valuable support to the President during their daily activities.
