Aliko Dangote, Abdulsamad Rabiu and Mike Adenuga have each been named one of Africa’s wealthiest billionaires on Forbes’ latest list.
Nigerian entrepreneur and business magnate Aliko Dangote holds the title of Africa’s richest person for the sixth year in a row and the world’s 138th richest person with an impressive net worth totaling $13.4 billion.
His business empire, Dangote Cement, holds the capacity to produce 48.6 million metric tons annually and operates across ten African countries.
Close behind is fellow Nigerian billionaire, Abdulsamad Rabiu, CEO and Chairman of BUA Group who is ranked 4th in Africa and 338th globally with a current net worth of $7 billion.
BUA Group owns multiple firms involved in cement production, sugar refining, etc., alongside real estate investments.
Lastly at 6th place in Africa and 412th worldwide is Nigerian oil exploration mogul Mike Adenuga whose Conoil Producing operates six oil blocks in Niger Delta while owning lucrative investments such as telecommunication firms and other businesses shining his current net worth to a whopping $62 billion.
