Toni Payne, also known as Antionette Oyedupe Payne, is a rising star in Nigerian women’s football.

Born in Birmingham, Alabama to Nigerian parents, Payne has made a name for herself as a forward for Spanish Liga F club, Sevilla FC, and the Nigeria women’s national team, the Super Falcons.

Coming from a family with a strong football background, with her siblings also involved in the sport, Payne’s passion for the game was evident from a young age.

She began her European football journey in 2016 with AFC Ajax before signing with Sevilla FC in June 2018.

Payne’s international career started with the United States under-17 team, but she decided to switch her allegiance to Nigeria in 2019.

Since then, she has become an integral part of the Super Falcons, showcasing her talent and skill on the pitch.

With her ability to glide past defenders, create scoring opportunities, and contribute to the team’s attacking prowess, Payne’s impact is undeniable.
