Meta’s newly-launched Threads app attracted ten million users in its first seven hours, according to CEO Mark Zuckerberg.
The app, which Zuckerberg pitched as a “friendly” rival to Twitter, allows users to post up to 500 characters and has many features similar to Twitter.

Threads is currently available in over 100 countries, excluding the EU due to regulatory concerns.
