President Bola Ahmed Tinubu recently addressed members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council at the State House banquet hall.

During the meeting, Tinubu expressed his determination to make Nigeria great and assured Nigerians that they will experience positive changes in the coming months.

Tinubu emphasized the importance of the council’s resources, dedication, and hard work in driving progress for Nigeria.

He acknowledged the challenges the country faces, including inflation, but assured everyone that the economy is looking good and measures are being taken to address these issues.

The meeting took place during the Ramadan season, and Tinubu hosted the leadership of the defunct council for an iftar (meal eaten by Muslims after sunset during Ramadan) at the State House conference center.

Vice President Kashim Shettima also joined Tinubu for the iftar. Ramadan is a significant month in the Islamic calendar, during which Muslims fast from dawn to dusk.

The breaking of the fast, known as iftar, is a tradition observed at the Aso Rock Villa, the residence of the Nigerian presidents since 1999.

President Tinubu expressed gratitude to the council members for their hard work during the campaign and reiterated his commitment to delivering positive results for the Nigerian people.

He acknowledged that there is no magic wand but emphasized the importance of hope and collective effort in achieving success.

Tinubu also highlighted the progress being made in the Nigerian economy, stating that revenue is improving and Nigeria is regaining its sovereignty and respect on the global stage.
