This decision is necessary to facilitate extensive maintenance work at the airport.

During a tour of the airport in Lagos, Minister Keyamo, accompanied by Mr. Kabir Yusuf Mohammed from the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), directed the airlines and companies operating at the airport to move to the new terminal, MMIA Terminal 2.

Additionally, all contracts, projects, and concessions in the aviation sector have been suspended until further notice.
