The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has shared photos from the town hall meeting held in Calabar, Cross River State, on his verified Twitter handle.
Tinubu and his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima, attended a town hall meeting on agroindustrialization in Calabar on Tuesday, December 20, 2022.
A few hours after the event, the APC candidate shared pictures on Twitter, saying he is a friend of professionals, market women, bus drivers, and others. Tinubu said that a market woman trained him to be an accountant.
He said, “My name is Bola Tinubu. I’m a friend to Professors, Senior Lawyers, Bankers, Engineers, I’m also a friend to Market Women, Taxi and Bus Drivers. You know that it was a Market Woman who trained me to become an Accountant…..”
The event comes a day after the presidential candidate met with labour leaders in Abuja.
