Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, a controversial artist, has expressed his concern over the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) allegedly planning to arrest him for suspected naira misuse.
Portable, who is currently overseas, claimed that he would be taken into custody once he returns to Nigeria.
The artist, who recently appealed to the EFCC to pardon him if they had any evidence of him misusing the naira, believes that he is being targeted after social media activist VeryDarkMan urged the agency to investigate him for alleged naira abuse.
During a recent Instagram live session with his fans, Portable expressed his fear, stating, “I am scared. The EFCC is planning to arrest me when I return to Nigeria because VeryDarkMan name-dropped me.”
Portable went on to criticize VeryDarkMan, questioning his credibility and authority to speak on public affairs.
He reminded him that his opinions should be left to law enforcement officers and individuals with substantial knowledge on the matter.
Portable also referenced VeryDarkMan’s previous arrest and subsequent release, suggesting that he should be more cautious about his actions.
