After winning their first Serie A title in 33 years, Napoli has begun contract negotiations with Victor Osimhen’s agent, Roberto Calenda.
President Aurelio De Laurentiis is directly involved in the talks and is determined to keep the Nigerian forward at the club with a new long-term contract.
Despite interest from other clubs such as Chelsea, Manchester United, and Bayern Munich, De Laurentiis has assured fans that Osimhen will not be leaving this summer.
The 24-year-old has scored an impressive 23 league goals this season and is on track to become the top scorer in Serie A.
Osimhen was signed from Ligue 1 club Lille for €75m plus add-ons in September 2020 and is currently under contract until June 2025.
