Victor Osimhen and Napoli have turned down a €70 million offer from Saudi Pro League club Al Hilal for the Nigerian striker. According to Sky Sport Italia via Calcio Napoli, Al Hilal officially proposed €65 million plus €5 million in add-ons, but Napoli insisted on the full €75 million release clause.
The club’s stance reflects their strong position in negotiations, while Osimhen himself reportedly declined Al Hilal’s personal terms, which included a €26 million annual salary. Despite the attractive financial package, sources close to the player confirm that Osimhen is not ready to move to Saudi Arabia at this point in his career.
Al Hilal, coached by Simone Inzaghi, remain interested and are said to be preparing an improved offer. The club views Osimhen as a marquee signing after his successful loan at Galatasaray, where he scored 37 goals and made eight assists in 41 appearances, helping them secure a domestic double.
However, both Napoli and Osimhen are clear about their conditions. Napoli will only consider a sale if the full release clause is met, while Osimhen has yet to decide on his next move despite offers from Europe and the Middle East. The striker remains one of Africa’s most valuable footballers, with interest from several top European clubs.
For now, Napoli’s message is firm: Osimhen is not for sale at a reduced price, and the player himself is committed to considering only serious proposals that meet his and the club’s terms.
