Ademola Lookman transfer Juventus Lookman interest Napoli Lookman move

Ademola Lookman’s time at Atalanta appears to be coming to an end, with Juventus and Napoli reportedly leading the race for the Nigerian international forward.

NaijNaira has learnt that the 27-year-old is expected to leave Bergamo this summer, following another strong season despite battling injury setbacks.

Lookman scored 20 goals and provided seven assists in 40 matches across all competitions for Atalanta. His performances have caught the attention of several clubs across Europe, but only Juventus and Napoli are said to have submitted formal interest.

“Lookman will leave Atalanta. In the last few hours, there have been rumours about the possibility of him moving to Arsenal, although they have not been confirmed, due to his age and characteristics. The player has been proposed to many teams in Europe, but the most interested are Juventus and Napoli,” Italian transfer insider Matteo Moretto told IlBianconero.

Lookman played a key role in Atalanta’s Europa League success this season and was crucial in securing a third-place finish in Serie A—Atalanta’s best points tally in over a decade.

There were whispers of a potential move to the Premier League, with Arsenal mentioned as a possible destination. However, reports suggest that his profile may not align with the Gunners’ current transfer strategy.

Lookman has been central to Atalanta’s recent success and remains a vital figure for the Nigerian national team. He featured alongside Victor Osimhen in Nigeria’s recent fixtures, adding to his growing reputation on the international stage.

With official interest from two Serie A giants and other offers still on the table, Lookman’s next move will be closely watched in the coming weeks.
