Natasha Akpoti Set to Reveal Sexual assault Evidence Against Akpabio

Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, representing Kogi Central Senatorial District, has something big planned.

She’s ready to present evidence backing her serious accusations of sexual harassment against Senate President Godswill Akpabio.

Speaking in an interview with Channels Television on Thursday, Natasha promised the truth would come out at the right time.

“At the right time and at the right space, I will present the evidence that I have,” she said.

According to Tribune Online, Natasha’s accusations have been causing a stir. Back in February, she claimed Akpabio made unwanted advances toward her at both his office and residence in Akwa Ibom State.

She also pointed out that when she rejected his advances, there were efforts to block her motions about the Ajaokuta Steel Company in Kogi State.

In response, Akpabio has firmly denied the allegations. He insists he has never harassed any woman and reiterated his commitment to women’s rights, citing his time as a gender-friendly governor.

In another twist, Natasha also commented on the recent rejection of her recall petition by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). She called the decision the right one, even though it came later than expected.

Tribune Online also shared that INEC rejected the recall petition because it didn’t meet the legal requirements set out in Section 69(a) of the 1999 Constitution.
