NEMA Urges Caution in Using Interlocking Bricks for Home Construction

Here Is The Easy Money-Making Trick Everyone Is Talking About! Learn More Here!

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) is urging caution when it comes to using interlocking bricks for home construction.

NEMA’s head of Abuja operations, Justin Uwazuruonye, advises minimizing the use of interlocking bricks in homes and instead suggests using them only for walkways or driveway floors.

Uwazuruonye emphasizes the importance of creating green areas by planting trees and grasses in surroundings to prevent flooding.

He explains that preventing water from infiltrating the soil can lead to high volumes and velocities of water, making it impossible to control.

Uwazuruonye highlights the need to preserve nature and encourages homeowners to open up their interlockings and allow grasses and trees to grow, as these vegetation can help reduce the quantity and velocity of water flow during rainfall, resulting in less damage.
