Nestlé Nigeria Plc has announced the appointment of Mr. Gbenga Oyebode as the new Chairman of its Board of Directors, following the retirement of Mr. David Ifezulike.
The appointment was made during the company’s Annual General Meeting, where shareholders and stakeholders were informed.
Oyebode, who is also the Chairman of Okomu Oil Palm Plc, Teach for All, and the African Philanthropy Forum, was praised for his ability to contribute to the development of the company.
He is a certified solicitor and advocate of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, and holds a Master of Laws degree.
Oyebode has been a member of the Board of Nestlé Nigeria Plc since 2014 and has served on various committees.
He is also a Director of CFAO Nigeria and Lafarge Africa Plc, and a member of the Board of Trustees of the Ford Foundation.
