Two highly talented Arsenal players, Joel Ideho and Ovie Ejeheri, have received call-ups to Nigeria’s U20 national team, the Flying Eagles, as they prepare for the 2023 Africa U20 Cup of Nations tournament hosted in Egypt.
The duo is eligible to represent either their country of birth England or Uganda, with Ejeheri having made a name for himself during his loan spell at Chelmsford City where he achieved 12 clean sheets.
The flamboyant winger Ideho has also impressed in cup matches this season by scoring 3 goals in the Premier League Cup.
Ideho was even invited to train with Arsenal’s first team last weekend!
