Nigerian rapper Falz, whose real name is Folarin Falana, recently underwent knee surgery in the United Kingdom after sustaining an injury to his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) while playing football in November 2022.
The surgery was performed on May 2, 2023, at a medical facility in London.
Falz shared the news with his fans on Instagram, asking for their prayers as he embarks on the journey to full recovery.
In a video, he explained that he didn’t initially realize the extent of his injury, but an MRI revealed a complete tear of his ACL.
The surgery, which lasted about 1.5 hours, was done under local and general anesthesia.
Falz is now on the road to recovery and hopes to be back to 100% soon.
