Nigerians to Pay N1000 NIN Verification Fee for International Passport – NIMC

The National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) has announced a N1000 fee to be paid by Nigerians who wish to apply for, renew or receive their international passports.

It was noted that Nigerians residing in other African countries will pay $3 and those living on other continents will pay $10.

This announcement was due to the Federal Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy’s directive to streamline passport application, renewal, and issuance processes.

Starting on 1 April 2023, inhabitants of Nigeria will have to pay the verification fee when applying for their International Passport.
