Students in the Faculties of Technology and Science will pay N163,200 for new students and N101,200 for returning students.
The College of Health Sciences and the Faculty of Pharmacy will have fees of N190,200 for new students and N128,200 for returning students.
The university wishes the students success in their academic programs and clarifies that these fees are for one academic session only.
In a separate incident, the police command in Lagos State has deployed officers to the University of Lagos (UNILAG) to maintain law and order.
This comes as students express dissatisfaction with an increase in their school fees. The police officers are there to ensure peace and order on campus, and discussions are ongoing between the students and the school authorities to address the fee increase and find a satisfactory resolution.
The planned protest against the fee increase by the National Association of Nigerian Students Joint Campus Council (NANS JCC) has been suspended due to intervention by the state Commissioner of Police.
