On Tuesday, Spokesperson for Obi-Datti Presidential Campaign Organization, Kenneth Okonkwo appeared on Arise News to react to Doyin Okupe’s resignation, what it means to the Labour Party and the way forward for the Labour Party.
During the interview, Kenneth Okonkwo said that the People’s Democratic Party is the most incompetent political party in Nigeria.
According to him, Doyin Okupe is not a lawyer, that is why the judge told him that he is sorry, but ignorance to an offense isn’t an excuse. He added that the People’s Democratic Party is so incompetent to the extent that they could not even educate their members about the implications of what they were doing.
He claimed that the incompetency and incoherency of the People’s Democratic Party in the implementation of its policies got Doyin Okupe into the current problem he is facing.
Speaking further, be pointed out that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC has been so quick in probing Doyin Okupe, but still haven’t gotten the temerity of investigating and asking questions to Bola Ahmed Tinubu who carried vans in cash into his compound at the eve of an election in 2019.
While explaining what he believes Bola Ahmed Tinubu used the two bullion vans for in 2019, Kenneth Okonkwo said that Bola Ahmed Tinubu has already confessed what he did with the money. He recalled that Bola Ahmed Tinubu told his followers that power is not served in a restaurant during breakfast, but one has to fight for it at all cost, snatch it, grab and run with it.
