Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, the Ooni of Ife, shared throwback photos of his humble beginnings while also sending a strong message online.
The Ife monarch made a splash on instagram by posting pictures from his early years, before he rose to power as the nation’s ruler.
Ooni encouraged people to put their minds on overcoming limits just as he did before taking the kingdom of Ife when he shared the photographs on his verified page.
He wrote, “Permit your mind to break barriers, and YOU will. Before I was bestowed the honour of ascending the throne of my forebears, I enjoyed pushing the limits of my imagination and turning impossibilities into realities.
