An Osun State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal has removed Ademola Adeleke as the state governor, following a two-to-one majority judgement.
The decision was made by the Chairman, Justice Tertse Kume, who stated that former Governor Adegboyega Oyetola had won the most lawful votes (314,931) while Adeleke had 219,666.
INEC must therefore withdraw the Certificate of Return granted to Adeleke and renew it for Oyetola instead.
The minority judgement is still being read.
