PDP Accuses Opponents of Forging Signatures in Ayu's Suspension Letter

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has denied the suspension of its National Chairman, Iyorchia Ayu, in his home state.

The executive members of Igyorov Ward in Benue State, where Ayu hails from, stated that their signatures were forged on the letter of suspension and that due process was not followed.

They called on PDP members and supporters to disregard the suspension and expressed their faith in Ayu’s leadership.

The exco also passed a vote of confidence on Ayu and emphasized that they lacked the power to suspend a national chairman.

They described the letter as a height of mischief and pointed out that the names of the executive committee members were misspelled, indicating the work of mischief makers.
