The PDP Presidential Campaign Council Spokesperson, Kola Olagbondiyan, has stated that the ‘Jagaban Army’, a sub-directorate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Youth Wing and headed by the APC National Youth leader Dayo Israel is a conduit for thugs and arsonists to cause havoc during elections.
He emphasised that President Muhammadu Buhari needs to convene a meeting of the National Security Council to address this issue.
Olagbondiyan noted that such groups created disturbances in Surulere and other places during 2019 general elections and can be threatful with Asiwaju Bola Tinubu contesting this election.
He urgeed INEC and security agencies to ensure the Jagaban army is publicly disbanded so the voters can feel secure while casting their votes.
