President-elect Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has dismissed speculations about his health, following rumors that he had flown out of Nigeria for medical attention.
The former Lagos governor has been away for over a month, leading to questions about his health and whereabouts.
Upon his arrival in Abuja on Monday, Tinubu addressed his supporters, insisting that he had taken the trip to rest and recuperate from the election stress.
He assured his followers that he was in good health and ready for the tasks ahead.
“I am happy to be back. I have rested, I am refreshed, and I am ready for the task ahead,” Tinubu told the crowd. “Forget about what the rumor mill may have told you. I’m strong, very strong.”
