PDP NEC Fresh Details Emerge on Senate Minority Leader and Wike Giving Senators $2M

Here Is The Easy Money-Making Trick Everyone Is Talking About! Learn More Here!

Senator Abba Moro, the Senate Minority Leader and representative for Benue South, has refuted claims that members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the Senate received millions of dollars from the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike. These rumors emerged shortly after the National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting of the main opposition party.

In an interview with Daily Independent, Senator Moro stated that he had spoken to his colleagues who confirmed that they did not receive the alleged $2 million from the FCT Minister. He emphasized, “As far as I am concerned, no PDP senator that I know of has been given any money to incite any crisis.”

Senator Moro further questioned the authenticity of the news, highlighting the fact that 60 members of the House of Representatives, who are also from the PDP, opposed the continued stay of Damagum. He stated, “If PDP lawmakers were given $2 million to incite a crisis in the party, how come 60 members kicked against the continued stay of Damagum? This is just completely fake news.”

As a responsible party member in the opposition, Senator Moro expressed his commitment to resolving the internal conflicts within the party. He emphasized the importance of stability within the PDP, as it directly impacts the stability of Nigeria as a whole.

While unable to confirm the veracity of the rumors, Senator Moro acknowledged that Nigeria’s political landscape is susceptible to various possibilities. However, he reiterated his belief that responsible party members would not deliberately instigate a crisis to undermine the integrity of the PDP.

Senator Moro concluded by stating the need to focus on resolving the party’s internal divisions and blame games, as these are expected in a party that has recently lost elections. He stressed the importance of stability within the party to ensure stability in Nigeria.
