In an interview with Channels Television’s Sunrise Daily, presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, said he would not accept an offer to join Bola Tinubu’s Government of National Unity.
He stated that firstly, he will be challenging the process and declaration of the February election results, and until it is rectified nothing else can be discussed.
When asked if he would accept the results being in Tinubu’s favour, Obi said he would be shocked and believed it will mean the country has adopted criminality.
He said for the sake of future generations this fraud needs to stop and hoped it could be done by involving the judiciary.
