Former Nigerian Vice President and presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, was in attendance at a reception ceremony for new and returning governors elected on the party’s platform.
The event took place in Abuja on Thursday and was also attended by other party leaders, including Edo State Governor Godwin Obaseki and former Vice President Namadi Sambo.
Abubakar shared photos from the event on his Twitter account, congratulating outgoing governors for their service and urging incoming governors to prioritize good governance in their respective states.
The event was organized by the PDP to welcome new governors and bid farewell to outgoing ones.
