Mauricio Pochettino, the former Paris Saint-Germain coach, has reportedly turned down offers from eight clubs since his departure from PSG.
However, over the weekend, it was widely reported that Pochettino had agreed to become the new head coach of Chelsea from the start of June.
The Argentine is due to be in England this week to finalize the details of the move and collaborate with current staff, including caretaker manager Frank Lampard.
Pochettino has received approaches from Benfica, Athletic Bilbao, Aston Villa, Nottingham Forest, Sevilla, Villarreal, Nice, and Leeds United.
However, none of these clubs ticked as many boxes as Chelsea did, according to Guillem Balague.
Pochettino will be tasked with preventing Chelsea from becoming a mid-table club in the long term, and according to reports, he wants to prioritize a new goalkeeper, central midfielder, and central forward in the summer transfer window.
